Winter Activities for Kids
On these cold winter months there are lots of fun activities to do with your kids. Building snowmen, sledding, snowball fights and of course hot chocolate to warm you up. However, there are times that it’s too cold to go out and play in the snow. Nannies to Love has listed some fun activities to do inside on a chilly Winter day.
How to play
The Setup: Seperate kids into teams. Send them to different rooms, where they’ll find toilet paper, piles of hats and scarves, buttons cut from construction paper, and tape.
How To Play: Each team must transform one of its members into a snowman, then help their creation get back to the party room with as little “melting” as possible. Award prizes for wackiest outfit, best teamwork, most creative.

Paper (colored construction paper)
Apply a thick line of glue to the top edge of the paper — go back and forth a bunch of times.
Hold the paper upright and let the kids watch the icicles fall!
When the icicles have formed (stop them just before the first icicle runs off of the paper) place the paper flat again. Sprinkle salt on top of the glue (you can even use glitter if you’d like to add some fun colors)
Once it dries you can hang them around the house as a fun Christmas decoration!
Strawberry and Banana Candy Cane
Such a fun way to incorporate Holiday Spirit but with a healthy alternative.
Make these fun candy canes for Christmas Morning or Christmas Eve , you can even leave them out for Santa.
Cut up strawberries and bananas and form a candy cane
